The West brothers headed north for the first round of the Central Queensland Motocross Series, which is held on the 23rd and 24th February by the Keppel Coast Dirt Bike Club at Yeppoon.
Younger brother Jason was aboard his Kawasaki KX85 small wheel for both days of racing and managed to take wins in all four motos. Jason not only made gains on the track, it was an opportunity to learn some valuable technique with concrete starts, which continued to improve over the weekend.
Older brother, Brad West is continuing to show speed on his Kawasaki KX250, and like Jason, managed to take all four wins over the two days.
The brothers both agreed the hospitality and vibe made for a great event and agreed it was awesome to be back racing in Central Queensland.
Next stop on the West Brothers Racing calendar is the King of MX at Moree, NSW on March 2 and 3.
Both Jason and Brad will travel down to the NSW event, aiming to achieve a top seven, which will secure a spot in the NSW state titles in June at Goulburn, NSW.
