Brad West MX is proud to announce the relaunched FUCHS Silkolene as a brand new partner into our Kawasaki supported racing stable.
FUCHS Lubricants Australasia took over the control and full distribution of the FUCHS Silkolene brand of motorcycle products in Australia and New Zealand at the beginning of April, and Brad West MX are excited to fly the flag for the world’s largest independent lubricant supplier.
FUCHS Silkolene products are used and demanded by leading professional race teams throughout MotoGP, World Superbikes, British Superbikes, Motocross and Karting. These products are developed using the latest lubricant technologies.
“FUCHS Silkolene products offer racers measurable performance improvements, and we’re hoping these gains can be to our advantage given the competitive nature that our team comes up against at each round” Sean West (Team Manager) explained.
“We’ve really stepped up our commercial program this year to ensure Brad and our entire team have the opportunity to race at the highest level throughout this season. Whether it be races here in Australia, New Zealand or the USA, we want to ensure that our team has exceptional products and a strong support group to perform on and off the track”.

FUCHS Silkolene product specialist, Greg O’Shea, is also excited about the Brad West MX opportunity. “It’s great for our FUCHS team here in Australia to now have the Silkolene brand under our banner along with our other comprehensive lubricant range. We’ve followed Brad for the last few months and he’s an exciting prospect for motocross in Australia. We’d like to think some performance gains from our products will help compliment his natural talent for a really successful racing partnership. We’re working behind the scenes to grow the brand and develop a very strong distribution network, so there’s some great enthusiasm with everyone involved at the moment” Mr O’Shea concluded.
